source 1, 2. I am in love with all of the above. Demi Lovato's Marchesa gown. I adore the colour and the way it hugs her curves. She kept her accessories understated so as not to distract from the detail on the front of the dress. I think it's great how Emma Stone strayed away from the norm with her emerald green tuxedo jacket and I love the colour of Nina Dobrev's dress but I just wish she'd do something different with her hair!! If someone said 'red leather and lace' to me I'd think tacky, but Kirsten Bell pulls this look off.

source I'm undecided about these dresses. This is the 'nyeh' category. There's elements that I like but I'm not in love. Miley Cyrus' dress is gorgeous from the front as seen in the first set of pics, but I think the sheer paneling on the sides - ugh. I do love her shoes though. This Marchesa gown worn by Lea Michelle reminds me of the fringing you'd see on those old lampshades from the 70's and I'm afraid I just can't see past that! She does wear it well to be fair to her! The colour of Cobie Smulders dress is beautiful but the shape doesn't do her any favours.

source Onto the ugly. Maybe ugly is a bit harsh. No, let's not lie, they're ugly. Julianne Hough's dress would pass as alright if it wasn't for that sheer material on the lower back. Although it does draw your attention to her ass, maybe that's what she was going for?! Firstly, Jennifer Lawerence, DO YOU EVER SMILE?? The swirls, the fishnet - gag. Kelly Osbourne's dress is actually nice enough, it's just her hair that kills me. Is it purple? Is it grey?? Lose the granny rinse love, you'll be old long enough!! It's a pity Katy Perry was too scared to go, I'd say she would have made a good effort. Next up Golden Globes, can't wait to see what it has to offer. Fingers crossed for the Irish contingent Michael Fassbender and Brendan Gleeson. What dresses do you love or hate? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Have a great weekend! ![]()

ReplyDeletecompletely agree LOVE kellys dress but the hair just makes it all so wrong....she looks older than her mother in that pic !!! i too cannot wait for the globes and the oscars. I predict Elie Saab to be all over it. His designs are absolutely amazing without being over the top :) xxx Cant wait to see how michael fassbender gets on. he is from our home town here in Killarney, its amazing how famous he is and he is still so grounded.
ReplyDeleteHe's super talented! I actually saw on twitter since, that Kelly dyed her hair a white blonde! Still not the best, but better than it was! Thanks for the follow! x
