Happy Australia Day!!

For those who don't know, today is Australia Day, my favourite day of the year. (Not just because it also happens to be my Birthday, I swear!)

I love Australia. I lived there for two years with my family until I was four and I was lucky enough to travel around a good chunk of it when I was backpacking in 2009. It is such a beautiful, expansive country that never failed to take my breath away every day we visited somewhere new. The weather isn't always fantastic as people like to believe, but let me tell you, it has it's very good days!! My brother has been living over there with his new family for the last three and a half years, so I have a great excuse to visit as much as my bank balance allows! Here's a collage of a few of my favourite photos that I took while travelling.

This is only a very,very,very small amount of the pics I took and I get so nostalgic looking through them! I might do some travel posts in the future with my photos and places I visited and stayed.

This is a scheduled post, as i should currently be getting ready to go into town. A few of the pubs here in Galway throw Australia Day parties. I'm looking forward to a sausage sizzle and a bottle of Hahns Super Dry while dancing to Triple J's Hot 100 in my thongs!
