That's just how we roll. . .

It's so crazy that we're into the last month of Summer! Definitely been the quickest Summer that I can remember. Looking back so far, it has been a memorable one :) Although I've been working non stop, I've made loads of new friends, had brilliant nights out, been to a fantastic wedding and destroyed my liver during Galway Race Week. A group of us also took a little "staycation" down to Corofin in Co. Clare in July. It's a little village along the South-West of Ireland. Here are some of the pics. . .

#1-5  We stayed in old Irish cottages beside Lake Inchiquin. They had a gorgeous rustic feel with amazing views and the peace and quiet was unbelievable!

#6-8 We went to visit the house from Father Ted! (I'm afraid it's not on an island like you thought) We made a little friend while we were there, although that was the only friend we made. The people who owned it were so rude!!

#9-10 We took a little trip to Lahinch, one of the best surfing spots in Ireland. Not many waves that day though. Who cares, I got a cone so I was happy out =D

#11. As our cottage was so isolated peaceful it wasn't exactly in walking distance from the village. And they didn't have an ATM or an abundance of taxi's so we piled into this man's car one night after he told us they called him "Dodgy Cabs". He drove like a lunatic and kept telling us "Not to take life so seriously"!!! One of the funniest and scariest times of my life

Did anyone else take a staycation this Summer? I'd definitely recommend them, except I think I'd pick somewhere a little less remote next time!! I have to admit we're itching to go abroad somewhere soon. We'd love to go back to NY or take a trip somewhere in Europe but it's so ridiculously expensive! I'll keep looking!

Love Niesey x
