Alan Carr was beyond brilliant! He's just so lovely and HILARIOUS!! His new show Spexy Beast is fantastic, we were laughing non stop the whole way through. As it was a warm up show for his big arena tour I thought he'd be reading from notes but it was flawless and just amazing. As much as I love watching Chatty Man, it's so good to see him doing stand up again. I urge you...go see him!!
We weren't allowed take pics or videos during the show but he did a Q&A after so I got a few photos and a nice lil vid. Oh God...the most embarrassing thing happened to me though. You know on TV when you see people suddenly spray out their drink when something is really funny/shocking? Yeah, well it happened to me. All over the back of the girl sitting in front of me.
I just had no control over it. One second my drink was in my mouth. The next, in her hair. And on my friends leg. Criiiiiiiiinnnnggeeee!! I was afraid to laugh after that. Luckily it was in like the last 10mins of the show. Yeah, he's THAT funny!!!
In other news, I had a quiet weekend. Went home to Roscommon, spent time with my Auntie and Uncle who are home from Liverpool, was amazed at how cute my God-daughter is, and stood out in the rain to watch Roscommon trounce Leitrim in the Connacht Semi-Final. Woohoo roll on the Final (: Also my mum finally got out of hospital today. Hoorah!
